Page Title
The Page Title is the name of the page. It appears at the top of the page, in search results, in navigation menus, and forms the page's URL.
Rules
- The title must be unique across GeoHazardWatch — no two pages can share the same title.
- The following characters are not allowed:
/ \ # ? % " ' < > | * - Titles are case-sensitive for storage but matched case-insensitively in links.
- Spaces are allowed and are preserved in the title.
How the Title Becomes a URL
The page title is used directly in the URL. For example, a page titled My First Page is accessed at /view/My First Page. Special characters in the URL are encoded automatically.
Changing the Title
Saving a page with a changed title creates the page at the new title. The old title is not automatically redirected — any existing links to the old title will break. Update links manually after renaming a page.
