Information We Collect

During your session we collect the following types of information:

User Profile Data: Your username, display name, email, and roles
User Preferences: Your saved display and editor preferences (see below)
Session Data: A temporary session identifier maintained for the duration of your visit
Browser Information: Your browser type, user agent string, and accepted languages
Network Data: Your client IP address and referrer URL
System Data: Server-side application state used to generate page content

User Preferences Stored

The following preferences are stored as part of your user profile and are used to personalize your experience:

Light / Dark Mode	`display.theme`	Your display brightness preference: light, dark, or system default
Site Theme	`ngdpbase.theme.active`	The Bootstrap/Bootswatch theme applied to the site
Code Editor Style	`editor.theme`	Your syntax-highlighting scheme for the page editor textarea only
Locale	`preferences.locale`	Your preferred language and regional format
Timezone	`preferences.timezone`	Your preferred timezone for date/time display
Date Format	`preferences.dateFormat`	Your preferred date display format

You can view and change all preferences at any time on your User Profile page.

Data Usage

User Profile Data: Used for authentication and personalization
User Preferences: Used to apply your chosen display settings and editor configuration on each page load
Session Data: Maintained temporarily for your session only; discarded when the session expires or you log out
Browser Information: Used for compatibility checking and security
Network Data: Used for security monitoring and access control
System Data: Used for performance monitoring and statistics

Data Retention

Session Data: Deleted when your session expires or you log out
User Profile & Preferences: Retained as long as your account is active
Log Data: Retained per the system log retention policy configured by the administrator

Your Rights

You may view and update your personal information and preferences at any time on your User Profile page.

To request deletion of your account or data, contact your administrator.
