For the site administrator: this is a generic template shipped with the software. Review it and change it to fit your own site, your organization and the law that applies to you before you rely on it. It is not legal advice. When you change what people agree to, raise
version:in this page's front matter (Admin → Edit raw) so everyone is asked to accept the new version at their next sign-in. An ordinary edit, such as fixing a typo, does not ask anyone again.
These terms are an agreement between you and the people who run GeoHazardWatch ("we", "us"). By creating an account or signing in, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use an account here.
How we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy. In short:
Some parts of the site are add-ons that you choose to turn on for yourself. An add-on may have its own terms. You are asked to accept them before you turn it on, and again when they change.
We may change these terms. When the change matters, we raise the version and you are asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in. The version and the date it takes effect are shown when you are asked, and on your profile under Your consents.
You can stop using the site at any time. Accepting these terms is a condition of having an account, so withdrawing your acceptance means closing your account: ask the site administrator. When an account is deleted, its record of what you accepted is deleted with it; the audit log keeps the events for its retention period.
We may close an account that breaks these terms, or when we stop running the site.
The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Questions about these terms go to the site administrator.
