Your Consents

Your consents is a card on your profile. It shows what you have agreed to on GeoHazardWatch, and the permissions you have given.

What it lists

  • This site: the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. For each one you see its version, the date it takes effect, and when you accepted it.
  • Add-ons: some add-ons you turn on for yourself have their own terms. Each one you were asked to accept is listed under the add-on's name.
  • Permissions you gave: apps and devices you approved to use your account, and your share links. You revoke an app under My tokens and devices on the same page, and manage share links on the Share Links page.

Each document shows one of:

  • Accepted with the date and time: you accepted the version now in effect.
  • Changed since you accepted: the document has a new version. You are asked to accept it the next time you sign in (or, for an add-on, the next time you use it).
  • Not accepted yet: you have not accepted any version.

When you are asked

  • When you create an account, you accept the site's terms on the sign-up form.
  • When the site's terms change version, you are asked once, the next time you sign in. You cannot use your account until you accept; you can sign out instead.
  • When you turn on an add-on that has its own terms, tick "I accept" on its card on your profile before saving. When its terms change, you are asked the next time you use the add-on.
  • Apps and agent tokens you already approved keep working when the terms change. Only you can accept, signed in yourself: nobody acting for you, and no administrator, can accept for you.

Withdrawing

Accepting the site's terms is a condition of having an account. To withdraw, ask the site administrator to close your account. When an account is deleted, its consent records are deleted with it.

To stop using an add-on, turn it off on your profile.
